An update after trying this place a few more times: - Marinated chicken: the amount of marinade they use isn't consistent. One time it was way too sweet that it tasted like an extra strong teriyaki sauce, another time it was too bland, and another time it was just right. - Beef bulgogi: Not bad. - Spicy pork bulgogi: Also not bad, but not as sweet as the beef bulgogi. The marinade tastes the same as the spicy marinated chicken. Service is efficient. The servers that we've seen all were polite and professional. Even though they have a lot of tables to tend per person, they don't seem rushed or messy with their work.
Food is amazing, I always try to go each month. I really enjoy it here but this time around one of the servers was so nice and bubbly. Thanks Jenny for your friendly service, the other men didn't even smile. I am hoping that when I go again the ambiance is a lot better. I know it's summer and it's super hot but good service goes a long way.
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was seated right away. There was only one waiter helping out 6 tables, but we definitely still got a lot of attention. There were 2 lunch menus, we picked B because it had more options for $4 extra. My favorite was thin beef brisket and spicy chicken. The japche was also good and I don't see that often at other AYCE KBBQ places. Overall, I enjoyed the service and food here. Price also reasonable, will be back!
Won KBBQ is a solid AYCE. The place is filled with people with a small line out the door and I can see why. The meat portions are generous, well seasoned, and the service is perfect. The grill was constantly changed out too. But this place is good for meat lovers and that's pretty much about it. It would've been a perfect experience if they offer seafood and vegetable options. Even some shrimp would've been nice. I ordered "vegetables" and got 2 slices of mushrooms, sweet potato, and onion. But I'm just splitting hairs now.
Met up with some college friends so the focus wasn't on taking pics of the food. We had a great time and for the price and selection well worth it. I just suggest you pace yourself or at the very least remember to take the food of the grill so you don't over cook the meats. I suppose it was on me but I should have asked for more vegetables so always feel free to ask your server. They work as a unit and appreciate their attention to the grill. Would 100% come back. More detailed review after my next visit.
Came here on a Friday night and it was very busy. Reservations are highly recommended especially during busier times. We had to wait 15 mins although we had a reservation. The food was worth the wait as it was very worth the price and the quality of the meat was pretty good. Although the side dishes were lackluster and I would pass on the tofu stew. It didn't have much flavor. The crispy rice cake and steamed egg were better but the steamed egg wasn't as fluffy and nice as it could've been. The restaurant itself is a tad dated and didn't have the best air vents. Service was good and they were quick to help us cook and continually brought more meat.
Also known as Won Kbbq Ambiance (4/5): Highly recommend setting a reservation because the establishment is pretty small. There's only 8 or so tables. We were seated about 15 min late due to the earlier party still wrapping up. Service (5/5): There's plenty of workers that run the floor to refill waters, bring over meat, cook/cut it up, and clean up. Food (Overall 4/5): Very tender and flavorful meats. Wish that there were more veggie options but there was only white onions, mushroom, and a few cuts of carrots and zucchini (if I remember right).
Great place for large groups! I came here as a group of 5 on a Friday night and we were seated quickly. The space is large however it does get busy later on. The service was attentive. Now for the food it was yummm! We tried the marinated chicken, bulgogi, and the brisket. The servers were attentive on flipping the meat when necessary. The meat was tender and juicy, so delicious! We also ordered white rice and veggies however I was disappointed that they didn't provide a lot of veggies. It was a very small ration for a group of 5. Other than that it's definitely worth a visit.
